About BonPawòl

BonPawòl is a free classified ads site for the Haitian community wherever it lives: Miami and Brooklyn, Boston and Montréal, Paris, Santo Domingo and Haiti itself. Housing, jobs, things for sale, services and community notices, in one place, in English, in Kreyòl and in French.

Why another classifieds site?

Much of what our community buys, sells and rents moves by word of mouth, WhatsApp groups and church bulletin boards. Those work, until you are new in town or the group gets too big to follow. BonPawòl keeps that word of mouth in one searchable place, in our own language, with tools to keep people safe.

How it works

• Posting and browsing are free.
• Snap & post: take a picture of what you are selling and our AI assistant drafts the ad for you to check and publish.
• Ads stay up for 30 days and can be renewed.
• Replies go through the site, so your email is never shown. You choose whether to show a phone number or WhatsApp.
• Anyone can report an ad that looks wrong. An ad reported by several people comes down until a site admin reviews it.
• Every page can be read in English, Kreyòl or French: use the language buttons at the top of the page.

Who runs it
